Classes
Irish dance is not an activity for everyone.  It requires committment, focus and dedication to develop the fitness, finesse and musicality that make this form of dance so compelling and enjoyable to watch.  For that reason, we insist on a minimum attendance of two classes per week after a child or young person has experienced dancing with us for three months.

Derry Reel Classes are based at Townley Grammar, Bexleyheath, a centre of excellence for the Arts.

Classes vary in length, depending on a child's age and skill level.  In general, class length is as follows:
Beginners - 60 minutes;
Primary - 75 minutes;
Fast Track - 120 minutes (includes a break of 15 minutes between gymnasium and studio sessions);
Advanced (Intermediate/Open) - 105 minutes*.

*Classes will increase to 120 minutes commencing February 2009.
