Expert tution in Irish dance Based in the boroughs of Bexley and Dartford, on the borders of Kent and South East London, we teach children Irish dancing. Our instruction and training builds children’s self-confidence, physical fitness, co-ordination, and musicality. It is also a lot of fun and provides young people with many opportunities to socialise and make friends. Opportunities to perform Irish dance is very entertaining to watch and we provide dancers with many and varied opportunities to demonstrate their growing competence and skill. We hold regular school socials, stage an annual theatre production, perform at festivals, private functions, civic receptions as well as charitable and corporate events. In addition, many dancers enjoy the thrill of competing at local, regional and national competitions. Annual summer camp From 2009, we will run an annual week-long summer camp that is heavily subsidised through ongoing fund-raising activities. This experience will give children the opportunity to advance their dance skills as well as enjoy taking part in outdoor pursuits and Arts activities. Classes We offer a good choice of weekday and weekend classes, tailored to suit age and ability, and we accept new starters throughout the year. Dance Studio As dancers progress towards the elite level, coaching input becomes more critical. All of our 'intermediate' and 'open' grade classes take place in purpose built dance studios with sprung harlequin floors and full length mirrors. Helping you with the costs We maintain a stock of second-hand dance shoes that new starters can access. In addition, we run regular social events that are attended by dancers, their families and friends. Funds raised are used to subsidise various dance related activities. Officially registered & regulated We are registered with, and regulated by, An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, Dublin. |
